Heartbreak is bringing you a night of unmatched depth & breadth of experience ensuring you'll confidently tackle the world's greatest road race. From our best coaches & fastest athletes to charity runners, physical therapists, and a registered dietitian, we're bringing Boston's highest level professionals to answer every question you'll have about training and racing in Boston.
The event will begin at 6:30pm with a panel and Q&A. Then, breakout stations will offer one on one coaching advice, nutrition guidance, injury prevention & screening, and gear recommendations from the best of the best! Conspire is also equipped with a full cash bar. This event is free and open to all runners participating in Boston or not!

Dan is the co-founder of Heartbreak Hill Running Company as well as the founder and head coach of the Heartbreakers. A strong voice in the national running scene & a highly sought after marathon coach, Dan creates, leads, and oversees programming for more than a 15 charity teams for the Boston, Chicago, and NYC marathons. In total, he makes sure that more than 1500 runners cross the finish line each year. As the creator of all treadmill studio programming and running experiences under the Heartbreak umbrella, Dan scouts, trains, and develops current and future coaches and leaders. Dan is the first Nike Run Club global coach in Boston.
Jonny is a long-distance track runner, elite marathoner, and Heartbreaker. He ran his debut marathon in 2:25, qualified for the Olympic Trials in the 2017 Chicago Marathon running 2:18:19 placing as the 10th American, and was the first New Englander to cross the finish line in the 2019 Boston Marathon. Jonny's favorite thing about Boston? "It's a hometown race. It was so special to get that HB bump at mile 20, and see the whole running community out on the course."
Ellen London is a 15-time marathoner, 12-time Boston Marathon qualifier, Heartbreak Studio coach and Co-Captain of the Heartbreakers. Ellen is running this year's Boston fundraising for Brigham and Women's Hospital, where her daughter was born. Ellen's favorite thing about Boston? "The best thing about Boston is that, even after running it a million times, you never know what to expect. It could be hot, cold, rainy, windy, or all of the above (like 2019!) but we all get out there, from front to back of the pack, and do our best on the day we're given."
Liz Rock is a force in the Boston run community! From coaching Heartbreak Studio classes to leading UNNAMED Run Crew workouts and organizing THE BRA RUN Liz has put a smile on just about every Boston runners face . Liz has run all the big time marathons; Boston, Chicago, NYC, London, and her next stop is Berlin 2020! How does Liz feel about her hometown marathon? "Boston was my first marathon so it will always hold a special place in my heart. The energy throughout the Boston Marathon course is what helped carry me through the finish line."
Cara is a 9 time marathoner, and since joining the Heartbreakers in 2014 has qualified for Boston in every marathon since. Cara became a registered dietitian in 2012, and enjoys helping runners fuel properly to reach their full potential. Cara's favorite Boston moment? "I've run the Boston Marathon 5 times and my best Boston time is 3:15:20. Boston 2018 was my favorite race despite the crazy weather!"
